Privacy Policy

A legal disclaimer

Effective date: July 22, 2026

mlssalarycap.com ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect: this site does not require account creation or collect personal information directly from visitors beyond what is automatically gathered through standard web analytics (such as pages visited, browser type, device type, and approximate location derived from IP address). If you contact us directly by email, we will have access to the information you choose to share, such as your name and email address.

Cookies: this site, hosted on Wix, may use cookies and similar tracking technologies for basic site functionality and analytics purposes. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings.

How we use information: any information collected is used solely to operate, maintain, and improve the site's content and performance. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-party links: this site may reference or link to third-party sources (such as MLSsoccer.com, Spotrac, or other league and news sites) for informational purposes.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of external sites.

Data retention and security: we retain limited information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above and take reasonable measures to protect it.

Changes to this policy: we may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

Contact: questions about this policy can be directed to [your contact email].

A couple of notes: I filled in placeholders for your contact email since I didn't have one for this site — swap those in. Also worth flagging that I'm not a lawyer, so if MLS Salary Cap ever adds things like ads, an email signup, or e-commerce, these should be revised (and a real privacy policy generator or legal review is a good idea for anything with actual data collection).
